A Beauty Review: Benefit’s Stay Flawless

A Beauty Review: Benefit's Stay Flawless via The Collabor-eightWe’ve tried plenty of foundation primers – some good, some not so good – but we’ve never tried a foundation primer that comes in stick-form.  Stay Flawless, an adorable little primer stick, is the newest beauty innovation from Benefit.  We came, we tried, we loved – read on to find out why!

I was a bit thrown off when I first saw Stay Flawless because, like I said, I’ve never actually tried a foundation primer stick.  To use it, you simply glide it over your skin.  Immediately apply your foundation, blending it into your primer as you go.

But the proof is in the pudding, as they say, and although I’m not a big fan of pudding, I’ve found that I am a big fan of Stay Flawless.  Primer should act like a magnet, connecting your makeup to your skin.  Some primers end up feeling cakey, like my makeup is resting on top of my skin.  Stay Flawless feels smooth and thin … almost like there’s nothing there.

But there is something there! I’ve never had my makeup last so long.  I thought I loved The POREfessional, but I’m really in love with Stay Flawless. Since it’s a stick, you can never really apply too much. A few swipes across my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead and I’m on to the rest of my beauty routine!

Have you tried Stay Flawless? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Disclosure: I received Stay Flawless from Benefit Cosmetics for the purpose of reviewing. The opinions stated in this post are my own.
