NARS Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Spring Break (pictured in the middle) ($26)
Spring Break is a sheer nude pink.
As a lover of all things makeup, NARS has been a brand that I’m absolutely gaga over, but is pretty out of budget for me to buy on a regular basis. When I got the opportunity to try NARS Larger than Life Lip Gloss, I jumped on it.
The gloss itself is pretty thick. I guess whether you like that or not may depend on your own personal preferences. If you’re not a fan of most lip glosses, you definitely won’t be a fan of this. However, if you like gloss, this one is awesome. The color payoff in these Larger than Life Lip Glosses is amazing for a gloss. And the color is absolutely beautiful – the perfect nude for my skintone. Unfortunately, the product’s thickness combined with such a light color can make the product look cakey if you aren’t careful.
I wanted to love it, so I tried to work with it. I’ve found that a little goes a long way. If I use the product sparingly, I can achieve the color and thickness that I like without it looking fake.
The good news? Since I have to use this gloss so sparingly, $26 might last me a while. The bad news is that it’s $26 – and if you’re like me, you probably can’t afford $26 for every lip gloss you buy. If you’re in the mood to splurge, give it a try!
