New York Fashion Week: Anna Sui Fall 2015 Hair

Gigi Hadid via Instagram

I’m all about the hairstyles seen at the Anna Sui Fall 2015 runway show of this New York Fashion Week season. The entire collection was filled with earthy, 1970s-inspired fashions that mixed patterns and textures for a deeply luxurious feel. But the hair and makeup looks were as natural and effortlessly chic as they come, ultimate #HairGoals that make me wish I woke up with no-style-needed hair.

R+Co crafted breezy, nearly-mussed styles that complemented the hippie-glam looks on the catwalk so well, and the stylists responsible for the looks knew it. “Once you saw the clothes and the feeling of what was going on in the room, you saw that we fought all of the rules and created this warrior-like hair that is big, piece-y, and has crazy texture to it,” the brand’s founder, Garren, said of the “unfussy” look in a press release.

Scrunching a bit of prep conditioning spray and texturizing salt spray into dry, the team styled my dream locks onto model Gigi Hadid and the other stylish ladies of the catwalk.
