I have always been and will probably always be openly and unapologetically into cheesy pop music, boy bands, and catchy summer tunes. (Before you boo me and throw rocks at me for being an adult human who is into the lyrical stylings of Demi Lovato, please keep in mind I’m an editor of a tween site. I care about these things!) At my job, I have been introduced to tons of up-and-coming young talent, and there have been a few musical acts that have really stuck with me. UK-based The Vamps are one of those groups. I was already starting to get into their infectious lyrics when they came out with a summer-perfect collab with Demi, titled “Somebody To You.” If you listen to it below, it might just be stuck in your head all summer. (That’s a warning and a promise.)

Is it the coolest song you’ve ever heard? Certainly not, but is it perfect for playing while you’re driving to the beach, windows rolled down and salty air in your hair? 100%. This music video definitely captures that vibe, and just because some 11-year-olds will be blasting it all summer doesn’t mean you can’t be too.
