1D x OD: One Direction’s Anti-Bullying Project

We ladies of The Collabor-eight have actual industrial storage containers devoted to organizing our nail polishes. We’ve bought them at the mall, salons, and beauty supply chains. We have never purchased them at Office Depot. Until now. The school/office supply store and the boys of One Direction are teaming up for an anti-bullying product line that includes, curiously enough, bright neon nail polishes along with a line of boy-band inspired school supplies.

If you hear girls shrieking on the first day of school, it will most likely be because someone bought a particularly cute One Direction notebook over the summer. (This inevitable reaction includes college classrooms worldwide. No shame.) But shriek away — it’s all for a good cause!

The ‘1D+OD Live Love Move Together Against Bullying’ campaign wants to raise $1 million that will go towards anti-bullying education in schools around the U.S. To do so in the most fashionable way possible, a line of five nail polishes (each named after a boy in the band), pens, stickers, notebooks, binders and other school supplies will be sold in Office Depots throughout the country, with proceeds going directly back to the schools. I would tell you to pick up the nail polish named after your favorite 1D boy, but they are actually so on-trend for summer that you may find yourself wanting to collect them all!

The entire collection lands in Office Depot stores on July 5  — so even though the last thing you want to be thinking about this summer is heading back to school, you can take comfort in the fact that the notebooks you’re buying for the new school year are helping out a great cause! Plus, you can get really crazy with your Mani Monday nail art with the wild shades — thrown into the collection, undoubtedly, for us gals who have no use for binder dividers (no matter how cute!)
