I’ve recently fallen in love with OPI’s Euro Centrale collection. From Polka.com, a fun blue and violet glitter, to My Vampire is Buff, a creamy nude, the colors are so perfect for Spring. One of my favorites from the collection is You’re Such a BudaPest, a lovely shade of what OPI calls “periwinkle-purple.” I even have a Pinterest board for the shade. When I got a few of the Euro Centrale polishes for my birthday (good gift or best gift?!), the first one I had to use was You’re Such a BudaPest.
Since I’m so in love with this color, I really wanted it to shine, but if you know me, you know I almost never do just a coat of color. I started with three coats of You’re Such a BudaPest – it’s a bit more sheer than other OPI polishes I’ve used, so I needed three to get the look I wanted. What I couldn’t see from the bottle or other swatches I’ve seen online is that the polish has the faintest hint of shimmer to it. It’s one of those polishes that looks even better when you try it on!
To spruce up the manicure just a bit, I added The Living Daylights, a fun multi-tone glitter from OPI’s Skyfall collection. It has flecks of pink, teal, silver, and gold that really bring out almost any color.
I can’t wait to try more of the Euro Centrale shades. Which one is your favorite?
