Shoesday Tuesday: Cole Haan LunarGrand Wingtips

You officially have no excuse to wear ugly commuter shoes ever again. Cole Haan’s LunarGrand shoes all feature Nike Air soles. Let me spell it out for you: the comfort of sneakers with the style of dress shoes. Don’t believe me? Check out the LunarGrand Wingtips with neon yellow soles. Keep reading to see some colors and even more versions of these revolutionary shoes.

The first time I wore my own pair of Cole Haan LunarGrand wingtips (brown tops with fuschia soles!), I swore I was walking on air. Or at least really, really amazing sneakers. No longer will my late to class shuffles or about to miss the bus dashes result in painful fallen arches or yucky blisters. And I won’t even have to pack a change of shoes for each destination on my agenda. These colorful but timeless dress shoes are appropriate for just about any setting I get myself into on a daily basis. Plus, with Cole Haan quality, you know your shoes won’t be falling apart after one sprint down the pavement.

These wingtips come in neutral colors with neon soles or fun color uppers with neutral soles. Either are a great way to spruce up your outfit, but the neon soles really grab a lot of attention- especially in a city of bland corporate dress shoes! Plus, these exact shoes come in guys’ versions too, so you can coordinate with the dapper men in your life.

Here’s the bonus fancy footwear I promised! The LunarGrand Chukkas are the comfort equivalent of wearing high-top sneakers, except with so much trendy class it might actually blow your mind. In just as many fun neon designs as the wingtips (plus a few more classic and solid versions), you can wear these shoes casually or all done up with your work duds.

So, are we cool, commuters? And other bandits of bad footwear? We can officially combine comfy and classy- meaning there are no more excuses for Uggs and New Balance Cross Trainers.
