A Beauty Review: FIX Malibu’s Wish Wash

I don’t know about you, but when I think of facial cleansers, I think of a clear liquid or gel-like substance. When I heard about FIX Malibu’s Wish Wash Exfoliating Powder Wash — yes, a powder cleanser — I was immediately intrigued.  As a beauty fan, when I hear about a new or different kind of product, I have to try it. Read on to see what I thought!

Wish Wash is a facial cleanser in powder form. It foams up slightly when you add water to it. At first, I was a bit confused by the fact that it’s a powder. I’ve only ever used liquid cleanser before. Nevertheless, I sprinkled some (about a teaspoon) into a washcloth and got to washing.

For reference, I have combination skin (oily T-zone), and I usually break out around that time.  Other than that, my skin is generally clear.

After a few days, my skin cleared up unbelievably. Wish Wash actually makes me feel good about washing my face because of how clean my face really feels afterwards. I have continued to use it for about a month now, and I don’t think my skin has ever been clearer. And when you look great, you feel great! Or vice versa? Either way, I can honestly say that I love this product! Try it out for yourself from Birchbox.
