A Beauty Review: Lancome L’Absolu Nu

LANCÔME L’Absolu Nu in Red Chiffon ($29)
A bright, shimmery red lipstick.
LANCÔME L’Absolu Nu in Beige Tulle ($29)
A sheer taupe-y beige.

As a college student on a budget, I am a firm believer that many drugstore brands can be just as good as high-end brands.  I have to say, though, that money is well spent on LANCÔME L’Absolu Nu.  It is one of the best lipsticks I’ve ever tried.  Here’s why.

Both the red and the nude are very true to color.  The photo is what they look like in the tube and what they look like on your lips.  The product is so creamy that it glides onto your lips like no other lipstick I’ve tried.  If you think I’m making this product sound like a dream come true, I definitely am.  Because it definitely is.

If you’re looking for your next beauty splurge, I’d say go for L’Absolu Nu.  Wearing it (in either color) makes me feel fancy and chic.  Although I know the formula is really the most important part about any product, I have to say that the pretty tube and fancy name only make this product even better than it already is.
