Shoesday Tuesday: BC Footwear Goes to Show Ya

BC Footwear Goes to Show Ya Flip-Flop

Is it possible to fall in love with flip-flops?  It is now.  The BC Footwear Goes to Show Ya Flip-Flop, which is almost as cute as its name, is the perfect combination of cute and casual.

To me, the word “flip-flop” conjures up images of shoebies (if you’re a part of the Rocket Power generation), and plastic rubber things that tend to cut me between my toes.  They’re these odd things that I wear to the beach or pool because it’s okay if they get wet or sandy or otherwise ruined.

Not with these babies!  Made out of 100% leather, the Goes to Show Ya Flip-Flops turn a generic summer sandal into a wardrobe statement piece.  They come in yellow (pictured), black, and tan (which the site calls orange, but they’re definitely tan), and each color is just as cute as the last.  And who can resist that gorgeous, oversized bow?

You can pick up a pair at ae.com for $45.
